Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled professional to perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on Diesel and Electric motor-driven Fire Pumps across a diverse range of structures. Your role will involve ensuring the safety and adherence to industrystandards while delivering exceptional service and generating essential certifications for our clients.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute physical tests, inspections, and repairs on Fire Pumps and related equipment as per client work orders, efficiently managing multiple tasks daily.
  • Utilize standardized forms and checklists to create detailed site and system reports, facilitating internal certification production for client compliance.
  • Precisely identify necessary remedial or repair work, drawing upon technical expertise and knowledge of industry standards.
  • Complete all company paperwork meticulously, including job sheets, schedules, and timesheets, ensuring prompt submission to our office-based team.
  • Conduct all work with professionalism and diligence, prioritizing high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices, adapting to changes and amendments.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and maintain professional communication with clients, management, and external parties.
  • Maintain and audit company vehicles and equipment to exceptional standards, always adhering to safe driving practices.
  • Strictly adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
  • While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
    • CSCS card holder
    • Asbestos and/or Confined Space certifications
    • Electrical qualifications
  • Prior customer-facing experience in a field-based service environment
  • Flexibility, strong planning, communication (both verbal and written), and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer usage to facilitate result generation and electronic submission
  • A safety-focused mindset is paramount
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license
