Job Description

Lead Installations Engineer - Fire & Smoke CurtainsJob Title: Lead Installations Engineer - Fire & Smoke CurtainsIndustry Sector: Fire Curtains, Domestic Fire Curtains, Smoke Curtain, Fire Control, Smoke Control, Roller Shutters, Industrial Shutters, Fire Shutters, Area to be covered: National (will be expected to travel to where projects are)Must be based: North West, Ideally ManchesterRemuneration: £32,000 OTE £50,000 Benefits: Fully expensed van + benefits package The role of the Lead Installations Engineer - Fire & Smoke Curtains will involve:

  • Lead installations engineer for a market leading manufacturer of fire and smoke curtains installing; industrial shutters, fire shutters, roller shutters, fire curtains, and smoke curtains
  • Carrying out general installation of fire & smoke curtains, in a precise, efficient and clean manor
  • Ensuring your van is loaded and fully stocked up to complete installations without delay
  • Attending site inductions and adhering to all health and safety information
  • Double checking all measurements are correct before starting the installation
  • Will be working on sites for projects valuing £3,000 to £500,000
  • 90% of your time will be working home to site, however occasionally will be expected to stay overnight near site
The ideal applicant will be a Lead Installations Engineer - Fire & Smoke Curtains with:
  • Must have 10+ years experience installing roller shutters, industrial shutters, and fire shutters
  • Training will be provided for fire curtains and smoke curtains
  • Must have worked on a main contractor site
  • Must have CSCS/ IPAF Licence/ PASMA
  • Loyal individual looking for a career
  • Competent worker who can hit the ground running
  • Must have high standards and keep work space clean
  • Hard working, punctual and reliable
  • Good communication skills and be able to manage their own time on site both as an individual and as part of a team
