An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Regional Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for excellence within the delivery of patient care. Professional development is supported within a friendly, dynamic team structure.Mersey Regional Plastics Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital provides treatment and repair of major lacerations (cuts) where there is loss of tissue/ loss of function, for example, hand surgery. Re-attachment of severed body parts (re-implantation).Reconstruction surgery including where there is loss of tissue e.g. due to cancer or severe infections or trauma. There may be opportunity to rotate within our Mersey regional Burns Unit.An Enhanced DBS Certificate with both the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists is required for this post.
