New Startare looking to recruit a Registered Manager for one our Children’s Homes in Liverpool.We are looking for a unique person who has the passion, drive, and skills to lead and manage one of our homes. You will have experience at management level and will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the management and leadership of teams working withchildren and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.We are a not-for-profit organisation, with a small cluster of Childrens Homes based within Liverpool.You will be expected to managea 4 x bedded home with young people who have a multitude of complex needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will create a therapeutic and nurturing environment, which focuses on reward and enjoyable activities forthe young people and be proactive in securing long term placements with positive outcomes.You will be supported by the Responsible Individual, and further support services such as the Human Resources Department, Maintenance Team and Internal Psychotherapist.Furthermore, You will understand the challenges of ensuring that the home is compliant in relation to Ofsted inspections and be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in relation to overall outcomes for the children living in the home.Ideally you will be qualified at level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, however we would support the successful candidate to achieve this if not already obtained. You will have the relevant experience, have a passion for developing your team and theyoung people we support.Your ability to communicate effectively in a multi professional environment is essential alongside the ability to inspire as a leader. You will have the opportunity to shape the service strategically and to play a role as part of the overall management teamin developing practice.You will be strong, outgoing, and genuine, with adesire to improve the lives of young people. You will be skilled in developing positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and remaining accepting and respectful.This post requires dedication, flexibility and commitment, as a reflection of this we offer extensive senior management support and guidance.The hours will be 09:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs Monday – Friday, you will also be required to be on call rota to support the service during the evenings and weekends.In return we offer
