Job Description

You MUST have care experience to apply for this role and the relevant qualifications in HR & TrainingThe company I am working with are forward thinking and looking to continue on their growth path. They provide domiciliary care to elderly clients.Key Responsibilities of a HR Manager:

  • Lead on ER issues including discipline, grievance, absence, and performance related matters, ensuring advice and guidance is given in a timely manner.
  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues
  • Support managers in making decisions which are consistent with company values, policies and practices and are consistently applied
  • Support, develop and coach managers to manage all people issues that may arise day to day from working within the sector
  • Managing the recruitment process
HR Manager Requirements:
  • Ideally CIPD qualified, Member status (CIPID)
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues
  • Ability to manage a diverse case load
  • Resilience and pragmatism in dealing with various situations that may arise in the care sector
  • Evidence of knowledge of current employment law
  • An ability to approach issues with a can do attitude, driving tasks forward to a successful conclusion
