Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician for a well-established client of ours based in Potters Bar.This is a full time, permanent position for a well-known medicines and health care company who look to enhance and improve the health of millions of people through effective regulation of medicines and medical devises underpinned by science and research.Our global leading client play a major role in assuring the quality of biological medicines worldwide by testing products and carrying out research as well as providing advise on a routine basis.You will be responsible for providing a mechanical service to ensure that the site is in full compliance with the relevant legalisation and is part of the maintenance team.Your main responsibilities will include the day to day technical advise and support, assistance and resolution for mechanical problems across the site ensuring that safe working practises are maintained.Requirements:- A minimum of 5 years experience in Maintenance or Building Services environment- A minimum of 5 years experience maintaining mechanical systems- Experience with air handling systems, biological pressure containment systems, clean rooms, building management systems, autoclaves, plate heat exchangers, drainage systems, pumps and water treatment, canteen equipment and microbiological safety cabinets/fume hoods.- Must have a NVQ Level 2 or BTEC in heating and ventilation or equivalent- BG01 qualification in maintenance of steam boilers and Steam plant maintenance qualificationWe are offering a generous salary of between £37K and £40K along with many company benefits such as a pension scheme.Please apply with your updated CV and our consultant Chelsea in our Brentwood branch will contact you.Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
