Job Description

AlexanderSteeleRecruitment are working alongside a fantastic Scottish Food Manufacturing company to find an InternalRecruiter to join their site in Aberdeenshire on a fixed terms basis for 12 months as Maternity Cover.Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and engage with candidates for roles within the business.
  • Working with the HR team to implement the recruitment strategy for the site.
  • Ensure engaging job adverts are posted and up to date on all relevant platforms.
  • Understand and advocate career and development opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Complete required legislative checks, ie right to work checks.
  • Screen candidates via telephone or video call.
  • Develop and utilise recruiting tools such as tests and assessments to assess candidate suitability.
  • Provide short listed candidates to hiring managers and arrange interviews.
  • Work alongside the HR team to provide analytics to the wider business on site recruitment KPIs.
  • Continuously identify and explore new recruitment methods and insights that may impact the business.
  • Work with the HR Manager to develop and review the RMUK Agency Preferred Supplier List (PSL) for site and engage directly with recruitment agencies, reviewing and refreshing terms of business as required.
The Candidate:
  • Recruitment experience required (internal or agency)
  • High paced volume recruitment experience desired but not essential.
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Experience working in an FMCG environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HR policies and recruiting best practices.
  • Ability to conduct different interview styles (structured, competency based and behavioural)
  • Familiar with HR databases, data managements systems and social media platforms.
