Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join a friendly and professional team in Portishead. You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 08:00-17:30, and Friday, 08:00-14:30, with no evenings or weekends.You will receive a salary of £19,000 - £22,800 per annum, plus a £200 monthly attendance bonus, training and all safety equipment.As Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving goods at the loading/receiving dock
  • Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders using technology provided
  • Checking loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
  • Moving and rearranging stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
  • Keeping careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
  • Cleaning the space and ensure that goods dont get damaged
  • Working with a team
  • Loading goods onto trucks for shipping
