Rent and Service Charge Manager/Accountant - Flexible/Agile workingBased in Portishead, Bristol - Flexible/Agile working£39,214 - £43,571 per annumPermanent, Full Time 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)About the role:Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rent/Service Charge Accountant to join their team to deliver a high quality and customer focused accounting service to the business and their customers.Your key responsibilities will include:Delivering a full rent and service charge accounting service within agreed service standardsManaging a small team of 3 Rents and Service Charge Business Partners and 2 Administration Support OfficersManaging the development of the company’s rent and service charge setting systems, ensuring they remain robust, fit for purpose and deliver an efficient, effective service to internal and external customersLead and manage the annual budget setting process and annual financial statements production for rents and service charges across the companyWorking flexibly to establish positive and strong relationships between the team and other departments within the business driving value for money into all financial decisionsPlease note that you will be working from home until it is safe to return to the office, at which point you will adopt flexible/agile working.About you:The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:Strong managerial experience in service deliveryExperience and knowledge of Rent and Service charge accountingExcellent attention to detailIt would be beneficial if you were CCAB qualified (or equivalent) and have experience of providing similar services..Above all, you will have genuine empathy with their purpose and a desire to help them achieve their goals.About them:Our client aims to make a difference to the lives of their customers.
