REED Business Support are working on an exciting new role, for a Recruitment Advisor based in Portishead, North Somerset.This is an extremely varied, fast-paced and rewarding role.You must have previous experience within recruitment, ideally taking care of high volume recruitment projects. You must also be a driver, and have access to your own car due to occasional travel for interviews with Hiring Managers.Job Role: Recruitment AdvisorLocation: Portishead with flexible working on offerSalary: £22,183 - £25,481Contract: Full Time, PermanentHours: MondayFriday, 37.5 hours per week and flexible on start/finish timesJob: Plan and conduct recruitment exercises to ensure vacancies are advertised effectively to attract a wide range of candidates. Manage and co-ordinate recruitment campaigns working with relevant managers and colleagues within HR and RPU to identify recruitment needs and plan campaign timetables and actions accordingly. Lead on Corporate and Control recruitment activities, alongside colleagues in the HR Team and the relevant managers to provide advice and support with the recruitment and selection process. Assist with recruitment awareness/positive action initiatives with the objective of increasing awareness of vacancies with under-represented groups, with specific focus upon females and the BAME community. Work with internal and external stakeholders includingthe DICE and Communications Teams and SARI (Stand Against Racism & Inequality). Continually review recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and innovation. Provide advice and information to managers and job applicants at all stages of the process. Assist with promotion interviews when required.Requirements:Essential: Significant level of recruitment experience and ability to project manage large scale recruitment & selection processes. Experience of working in a fast paced HR department. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload. Able to work under pressure using own initiative, combined with an efficient, methodical approach. Sound knowledge of employment law with specific reference to recruitment and positive action, including the Equality Act. Able to conduct research to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice. Full driving licence, and access to own vehicle.Desirable: CIPD qualified (or working towards an HR qualification). Experience of promotion processes and Assessment & Development Centres. Experience of Hay job evaluation.
