We are committed to continuing to build a company ethos internally that inspires our staff, allowing them to meet their goals along the way whilst providing the best possible output to our customers.The RoleAt Plexus Freight we offer a complete logistics package to our customers including Road, Sea, Multi-Modal and express freight services with a specific focus on client relationships.Reporting to the directors, the role available will be for a Logistics/Freight Administrator/Business Support to assist the business with the day-to-day freight forwarding operations and supporting our freight account managers.Full training will be offered for the role however good knowledge of MS Office is essential also a key element is excellent attention to detail, accurate data processing and having relevant experience supporting a fast-paced business.The role is office based in Portishead, Bristol and will be office based, however there will be an opportunity to work remotely two days a week when training is complete and probation in passed.This role is required a start date within the next 4 weeks, depending on notice periods etc.The job will be varied from day to day but will focus on the day-to-day freight forwarding operations supporting our freight account managers inputting quotes, bookings, updating our freight database, basic customs entries (training provided and furthertraining via a BIFA course available), creating delay notices for clients, updating rate sheets, checking off invoices and supporting the Account Managers with ad hoc duties.A competitive salary of between £23,000 to £25,000pa, dependent upon experience, is available and the chance to join a friendly and sociable team.This will involve but is not limited to:Inputting Quotes and Bookings in our freight softwareLiaising with foreign suppliers to arrange collections (Italy, Spain, Portugal & Germany)Learning and processing basic customs entries (training provided and further training via a BIFA course available)Updating our Freight Management Software when necessaryAnswering callsRaising and arranging customs clearancesUpdating our CRMKey RequirementsThe right candidate for this role, will ideally be from a freight background, however we will consider candidates from a strong business support role that have supported a fast-paced industry.
