Six month fixed-term contract with the possibility of being made permanent.39 hours per weekWe are looking for an Electrician to join our successful Home Repairs Service.You will be responsible for carrying out high quality re-wires and repair works and undertaking electrical installation works of both 230v and 415v systems. You will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of faults and final testing to include the completionof relevant certification.You will also ensure all works are carried out in line with regulations and in compliance with relevant H&S legislation, policy and safe working practices.About you:You will hold a current electrical qualification and have proven working knowledge of the current edition of BS7671. You will have demonstrable experience of working within H&S legislation, alongside the ability to manage the risk associated with lone working.With experience in working in a customer service environment, you will also be able to provide high levels of service and adopt the right first time approach.You will need to work at any location from where we operate, including any partner organisations or customer locations in line with your job. You will be assigned a specific area where the majority of your work will take place, however you may need to attendother areas when the business requires.
