Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is searching for an Assistant Bar Manager for a community-focused bar located in the stunning setting of Portishead Marina near Bristol. The Bar specialises in independent beers, wines, and spirits and with regular live musicand events and is a constant hub of activity.The Assistant Bar Manager will join a small enthusiastic team and will have the opportunity to work closely with the Bar Manager to provide some assistance and direction for the future progress of the bar.The skills required are as follows:
  • Cellar management experience
  • Stock ordering and stock management experience
  • Staff management
  • Cash management
  • Monitoring of cleaning procedures
  • Familiarity with epos systems
  • Event organisation
  • Personal licence holder would be preferred but not essential!
An outgoing personality is also a prerequisite.SalarySalary £12 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) with a 40-hour contract and all usual staff benefits.
