Job Description

ADECCO are looking for Warehouse Operatives for their client based in Port Talbot.Mon-Fri DAYS ONLY(possible overtime available)£9.40-£9.90 p/hOur client is a growing company, who needs reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their dedicated team! This is an excellent long-term opportunity and offers the chance for continued professional development.Immediate starts are available!This role would involve general Warehouse Operative duties and some experience of operating or working in the vicinity of forklift trucks and/or other warehouse vehicles would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given.The Role:

  • Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Accurately pick and prepare goods for dispatch (pack, wrap, label etc)
  • Unload deliveries and ensure goods are processed safely and stored correctly
  • Loading goods onto pallets for dispatch
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles in line with received training
  • Following H&S guidelines and wearing PPE
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or production experience
  • Experience using Forklift Truck and/or other warehouse vehicles would be an advantage
  • A team player
  • Ability to remain calm and level-headed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role
  • Flexibility to work longer hours during busy periods
