Job Description

An esteemed homelessness charity who successfully delivers a number of temporary accommodation and tenancy support services across Wales is looking for a skilled Support Worker to join their tenancy support team.Joining a high performing team, you will be at the forefront of the charities mission to combat and prevent homelessness, whilst promoting independence.You will provide a housing support service, visiting service users in their homes in order to provide relevant practical and emotional support. You will implement a support programme aimed at developing their skills and confidence in order to sustain theirtenancy whilst remaining independent in their own home. Using your support expertise, you will create tailored support plans that assist each individual in a unique way.You will be confident in dealing with the unique needs of the user, including complex needs such as those in housing crisis/at risk of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, and experiences with domestic violence.You will be working within commuting distance from a range of areas such as Neath, Bridgend, Swansea and Llanelli. This exciting full-time role (37.5 hours p/week) offers flexible working and the opportunity to further develop your support skills in a rewardingfield.
