Acorn is working with their distinguished client in resourcing a "Technical Training Advisor" to support and report to The Technical Training Delivery Manager in the region and across the UK, based at the Academy on site in Port Talbot. The training delivery in the downstream locations is distinct from the hubs and relies upon a broad spectrum of HR operations and external partnerships. By its nature, the focus of the Technical Training Advisor will vary accordingly, supporting delivery of competent employees through direct delivery of assigned programmes, coordination of internal teams, management of Apprentice training programmes and premisesand/or significant third party training resources. You may lead projects/programme areas where appropriate and influence key stakeholders, manage resources and report on progress. This role delivers customer satisfaction through identifying, understanding and giving priority to meeting the needs of the customer (both internal and external) and delivering a quality service in:* Manufacturing Apprentice / Higher Apprentice Programme * Technical Apprentice / Higher Apprentice Programme * Finance Apprentice Programme * Supply Chain Higher Apprentices * Procurement Higher Apprentices * Environmental Higher Apprentices * A range of other programmes subject to business needs & demand (including new programme development to align to the Apprentice levy opportunities) Candidate* You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Develop new Apprenticeship programmes in line with Business needs* Hold regular review with Colleges, Universities and Training Providers to review Apprentice progress and ensure frameworks are suitable* Understand available funding opportunities across the UK and maximise utilisation* Deliver training material and curriculum as appropriate.* Contribute to Training Programmes and Projects.* Contribute to the negotiation of training packages with Colleges, Universities, Training Providers and Equipment Suppliers * Ideally have previous Experience in Manufacturing, Technical or L&D experience with applicable L4/L5 qualification * Experience in teaching, assessing and coaching (relevant qualifications desirable) The BenefitsOur client offers their employees significant benefits packages.
