This is a fixed term post for 12 months. If you are a SBUHB employee you will need to seek your line managers approval before applying for this postSwansea Bay University Health Board Radiology services are provided on 3 main sites - Neath Port Talbot, Morriston and Singleton Hospitals. The departments support a number of sub-regional specialities including Neurosciences, Cardiac and Burns & Plastic Surgery. The departments have multi-slice CT, MRI, Cardiac Catheter Lab and Gamma Camera. Busy A&E Units are supported by modular PACS.We are looking for a band 3 Radiography Assistant to join the team supporting imaging services across the Health Board.Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary teams.Previous experience of working within the healthcare setting is essential.This post will be based on the Neath Port Talbot site.Candidates will support the extended working day and weekend sessions.The department is committed to providing training and development for all staff.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to applyFor further details / informal visits contact:Janine Sparkesjanine.sparkes@wales.nhs.ukORDebbie WatkinsDebbie.watkins@wales.nhs.uk
