Opportunity for a Production Specialist to work with a well-established manufacturing company within South Wales, to drive productivity whilst working within a team structured environment.The Role:As the Production Specialist, you will have responsibility for many facets of operations, technical, quality operations plus production planning functions. Detailed responsibilities include: * Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance to both legislation and Health & Safety requirements* Developing, implementing, and maintaining operational KPIs and resource allocation plans for the site* Maintaining departmental performance while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values* Reviewing and improving organisational effectiveness by developing processes and overseeing employees* Establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement* Assisting departmental teams where required and maintaining employee levels as agreed by senior managers* Maintaining project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time* Building relationships with other manufacturing areas and shift teams to departmental targets and effective running of the operation* Responsible for delivering improvement projects within the respective departmentYou will be able to demonstrate the following:-* A positive and "Can Do" drive for results* Problem solving skills* Team Worker* Proven ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks on a day to day basisThe Benefits* Our client offers their employees significant benefits packages.
