Electrical and EC&I Engineer as a Process Safety Engineer (EC&I) into the Process safety team.The RolePlay an integral part in supporting the development of Process Safety Information and validation of installed equipment to required standards covering a range of plants and equipment, and from a personal point of view have the opportunity to develop their skillsand experience. You will work within a dedicated team, using the output from standard process safety risk assessment (Hazop / LoPA etc) to develop and maintain proof tests / maintenance plans etc.. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: * Ensure EC&I equipment dedicated to process safety is fit for purpose and meets current standards .* Analyse equipment performance / design and operability to ensure effective and reliable response on demand.* Assist with the installation of small projects* Understand and at all times comply with company policy, where it effects your day to day activities.* Supervision / work with specialist contractors in certain tasks.* Be committed to self-development and learning, to maximise performance and provide succession resource for the business. The Candidate * You will require a degree / HNC qualification in an instrumentation/electronics or electrical discipline.* Some experience of working within a manufacturing industry (heavy preferred), in an electrical / instrumentation based role. * A "Can Do" attitude, and the ability to work both as an individual and within a multi-disciplined team, in a safety first manner.
