Job Description

Our client is seeking a technically minded candidate to join their professional and established organisation as an IT Coordinator.Working 35 hours each week Monday - Friday, between 8am - 5pm, the salary per annum is £24,000 - £26,000. Please note, the higher end of the salary will only be offered to an exceptional candidate with all required skills. The candidate must have their owntransport due to the office location. This is not hybrid working.The IT Co-Ordinator will maintain and manage the IT systems and liaise with key suppliers. The role is varied and ever changing depending on the needs of the business and involves being able to effectively manage and form relationships internally withinthe Group operations and externally with key suppliers.IT support is predominantly outsourced to a 3rd party, however the IT Coordinator is on-site to assist with internal phone systems, mobiles, general equipment support, IT set up and other related projects.The position would suit either a candidate with relevant experience, or an enthusiastic individual, technically driven and wanting to gain an opportunity in this line of work.It is essential that the candidate has excellent communication skills, with a positive and helpful approach.Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Procurement of all IT assets and processing of purchase orders and invoices related to purchases
  • Manage the starters, leavers and internal changes, including but not limited to setting up on Active Directory and WINI, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Cover the IT internal & MCS support helpdesk
  • Maintenance and administration of the IT Asset databases
  • Assist with IT projects as requested by manager
  • Complete IT audits as required
  • Occasional travel out of hours with overnight stays when necessary
  • Any other task required to assist in the daily running of the department
Desired skills and experience:
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to manage and priorities workload depending on business needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • To be flexible and willing to change work plans at short notice
  • Ability to liaise with and progress/escalate calls to a conclusion with external suppliers
