High Voltage Electrical Craft Team Member Department: Central EngineeringLocation: Port TalbotSalary: Negotiable depending on experience + BenefitsThe RoleWe are looking to recruit a Electrical Craft Team Member for our client based in Port Talbot. Within this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and inspection work and provide expertise and resource to identify and rectify faults in complex systemsto ensure manufacturing continuity.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all activity is undertaken within Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and in compliance with company and legislative requirements. The jobholder will work as part of a team to ensure manufacturingperformance on an ongoing basis, support manufacturing development plans and identify opportunities for improvement.The CandidateIdeally, applicants will be qualified to ONC level, which will have normally been obtained through a craft apprenticeship in electrical engineering or hold a Modern Apprenticeship certificate. Experience of High voltage equipment will be advantageous.You will be required to have relevant plant experience in electrical systems and be capable of supervising personnel in the safe execution of engineering repair work.We require applicants to have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be computer literate.
