Reporting to the Financial Controller, your prime responsibility will be to assist with the day-to-day finance and customer service functions of the business. With lots to offer, this is a great company to be part of.DescriptionContribute to timely production of month-end financial results and reports including key business metricsAssist with data production for auditsAssist in production of annual budgets and quarterly forecastsManage customer reporting processes and prepare sales reporting for the business and customersSupport reporting function to division, group and external stakeholdersPost journals and assist with accruals and prepayments reconciliationsReport on Fixed Overheads and analyse expenditurePrepare VAT returnsAssist Management Accountant with the Import and Export ProcessMaintenance of main customer account dealing with queries and monthly statementsAnnual preparation of Valpak reportWeekly stock level reports for internal useReport as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated)Assist in implementation and maintenance of Financial, ERP and payroll systems to measure performance against established standards.Any other ad hoc tasks as required by the site senior management teamProfileFormal Accounting Qualification, e.g. working towards ACCA / CIMA or similarPrevious knowledge of SAP (not essential but advantageous)Able to identify problems and potential solutionsSelf-motivated, reliable, dedicated, hardworking, conscientious and flexible.Job OfferCompetitive salaryAdditional benefitsGood annual leave
