Transport for Wales - Graduate SchemeRole: Transport Operations GraduateLocation: PontypriddAt Transport for Wales (TfW), we have big plans to transform the Welsh transport network. Its our vision to connect communities, create jobs and make travel across Wales and the borders more accessible than ever. Thats where you come in.On this scheme, youll blend formal learning with practical experience. With a collaborative approach, youll work closely with project teams and internal stakeholders. Youll be responsible for delivering quality projects on time and within budgets, all whilekeeping an eye on potential risks. This will give you a great understanding of different elements of a project lifecycle, all while developing your communication and management skills.Throughout this two-year course, youll work towards achieving a professional qualification. As part of your learning, youll take part in six practical development workshops and four webinar sessions. Plus, youll combine your academic and practical learningto deliver a personal project that contributes to TfW.To apply, youll have a degree in a relevant area, such as Business Studies, Business Management, Operations Management or something similar. Your studies mean that youre now confident at prioritising tasks and balancing your workload. And as a real teamplayer, youll enjoy delivering team projects and working with others. Work or volunteering experience in a related field is desirable, as are Welsh language skills. If youre keen to develop your skills, we want to hear from you.
