Job Description

Our client, based in South Wales, is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor on a permanent basis.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is negotiable based on experience for this position.The ideal candidate will have experience of Social Housing.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Complete Stock Condition surveys on domestic properties to verify compliance
  • Undertake building defect analysis including identification of damp, fire and structural hazards
  • Carry out re-inspection and monitoring of asbestos material located in buildings
  • Complete pre-inspections of elements that are being considered for replacement
  • Ensure compliance with all Legislation relating to Health and Safety at Work
  • Provide technical and contract surveying support to Homes and contract managers, including first response for on-site health and safety incidents
  • Prepare accurate specification of works required as necessary for all types of work
  • Collect RDSAP data to calculate the energy efficiency of properties
  • Record accessibility and disabled adaptations data for every property type
  • Experience required:
  • Social Housing experience
  • Knowledge of WHQS
  • Knowledge of HHSRS
