Job Description

Brecongate Projects Limited is a long established, reputable company providing commercial building services throughout South Wales.We are looking for an experienced, talented roofer to join our team in Treforest.With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, we are looking for self-motivated, driven individuals to join our friendly working environment.The role involves installation and maintenance works at various sites throughout South Wales, predominantly at commercial properties; including office accommodation and educational establishments for local authorities and Welsh Government along with emergency services facilities.We require self-starters that possess good communication skills and competency in producing detailed and accurate reports of works done and remedial works required.If you are an experienced roofer that can work under your own initiative we would love to hear from you!About you:

  • Industry trained
  • A minimum of two- years’ experience in the roofing industry.
  • All aspects of roofing required: tiling, slating, flat.
  • Lead work
  • Glass fibre/ rubber type applications also preferred.
  • Good H&S awareness is essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Asbestos Cat. A/B desirable but not essential.
  • IPAF trained desirable but not essential.
  • Current CSCS card along with other industry Health & Safety qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
  • Must be prepared to undergo a DBS check.
    • The Role:Excellent communication and organisational skills are important for this position, as will be completing the work to a high standard in a timely manner whilst maintaining a safe environment.Detailed recording of the work carried out and reporting to your line manager and office administration staff is essential. Our valued customers expect a high level of service with minimum disruption and value for money; Duties will mainly include planned and reactive maintenance, small works and remedial repairs.This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who wants to join a progressive company offering a friendly and stable working environment.Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 4.30pm, though flexibility may be requiredWe are fully operational 24/7, 365 days per year, and you would be expected to participate in our emergency call-out rota in support of their client base, which is rewarded by salary enhancement.Benefits:
