Job Description

Brecongate Construction, a well established, reputable company providing commercial building services throughout South Wales is looking for a talented, qualified Carpenter to join our team in Treforest.With over 25 years of experience in the industry, we are looking for a self- motivated, driven individual to join our friendly working environment.The role involves maintenance work on long term contracts at various sites throughout South Wales, predominantly at commercial and educational properties including office accommodation and education establishments for local authorities and Welsh government.Requirements:

  • Experienced, qualified carpenter who can perform tasks including first and second fix, plasterboard, tape and jointing, door hanging and skirting boarding
  • Full, Clean UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Asbestos Cat A or B and IPAF certificates (desirable but not essential)
  • Current CSCS card along with other health and safety qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Must be prepared to undergo a DBS check
  • Self- starter
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent in producing detailed and accurate reports of works done and materials used etc
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30We are fully operational 24/7, 365 days per year and you will be expected to participate in our emergency call-out rota in support of our client base, which is rewarded by salary enhancement.Benefits:
