Generator Engineer£27,000 - £35,000 + Company Vehicle + Overtime + ProgressionPontypriddRSD Recruitment are currently working with the UKs largest tool and equipment hire company to find a Mobile Generator Engineer in the Pontypridd area!The role will consist of the travel to customer sites, completing the servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrade of diesel powered generators up to 1260kva! The successful candidate will have previous experience working within the power generation and smalltool company and will ideally have come from another generator hire company.The candidate will also be expected to be part of a 1 in 4 Call Out Rota which is well compensated for in the amount of an additional £2,500 per year. The role is paid door to door (paid from the moment you switch your engine on until you turn it off atthe end of the day) and comes complete with a company van and tools!All overtime accrued after 40 hours per week is paid at 1.5x normal rate.The successful candidate will also have duties in diagnostics and rectification, installation and commissioning, load bank testing, control system wiring as well as site surveys and inspections.The client are a well known hire company and are one of the best we work with - it is a great opportunity to join the team!Schedule:Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)Overtime paid at time and a half.Call Out Rota 1 in 4 (Once a month) - £2,500 bonusExperience level and skillset of successful candidate will determine salary within given pay scale and is at discretion of employer upon successful interview.
