Job Description

Brecongate Projects Limited is a long established, reputable company providing commercial building services throughout South Wales.We are looking for talented a qualified Gas Engineer / Plumber to join their team in Treforest.With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, we are looking for self-motivated, driven individuals to join our friendly working environment.The role involves maintenance / installation and certification at various sites throughout South Wales, predominantly at commercial properties; including office accommodation and educational establishments for local authorities and Welsh Government along with emergency services facilities.We require self-starters that possess good communication skills and competency in producing detailed and accurate reports of works done and remedial works required.If you are an experienced, qualified Gas Engineer/ Plumber that can work under your own initiative we would love to hear from you!About you:

  • City & Guilds Level 3
  • NVQ Level 3 All modules
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Asbestos Cat. A/B desirable
  • IPAF trained desirable
  • Must be prepared to undergo a DBS check.
  • Current ECS card along with other industry Health & Safety qualifications would be preferred but not essential.
  • The Role:Excellent communication and organisational skills are important for this position, as will be completing the work to a high standard in a timely manner whilst maintaining a safe environment.Detailed recording of the work carried out and reporting to your line manager and office administration staff is essential. Our valued customers expect a high level of service with minimum disruption and value for money; Duties will mainly include planned and reactive maintenance, small works and remedial repairs.This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who wants to join a progressive company offering a friendly and stable working environment.Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 4.30pm, though flexibility and weekend work may be required.We are fully operational 24/7, 365 days per year, and you would be expected to participate in our emergency call-out rota in support of our client base (currently 1 week in 5), which is rewarded by salary premiums.Should the need arise, some night shift work may sometimes be required for which further salary enhancement would applyBenefits:
