Transport for Wales - Graduate SchemeRole: Communications and Engagement GraduateLocation: PontypriddAt Transport for Wales (TfW), we have big plans to transform the Welsh transport network. Its our vision to connect communities, create jobs and make travel across Wales and the borders more accessible than ever. Thats where you come in.Youll have the unique chance to blend formal learning with practical experience. Working closely with different teams, youll help to deliver a wide range of communication and engagement projects and activities. With a collaborative approach, youll keepkey stakeholders updated on progress and create great working relationships. Paying close attention to detail, youll make sure projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Youll also have time to focus on your own personal project.Throughout this two-year course, youll work towards achieving a professional qualification. As part of your learning, youll take part in six practical development workshops and four webinar sessions. Plus, youll combine your academic and practical learningto deliver a personal project that contributes to TfW.To apply, youll need a degree in a relevant area. This could include: branding, business studies, communications, English literature, marketing psychology, media, politics or public affairs. Youll also have an interest in transport and sustainability andfeel confident delivering multiple projects. Creative, proactive and organised, youll get the best out of this scheme.Work or volunteering experience in a related field is desirable, as are Welsh language skills.
