PMP Recruitment is looking for Skilled Production Assemblers with experience within the automotive / aerospace sectors for a client based in Pontypool. Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within a mechanical assembly and able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly. Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.Your duties will include:Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracyAssembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterousMust be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometres, and other tools as required by specific jobsExperienced in the use of hand, power and air toolsParticipate in the principles of teamworkMaintain a clean, safe and organised work environmentMust operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demandMust be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.Hand and eye coordinationRead drawingsMust be able to work overtime when requiredBenefits & PayMornings and Afternoons £ 10.43Nights £11.1633 days HolidaysFree car parkingPensionTemp to Perm conversions for the right candidates.How to get there - Public Transport is extremely limited, due to the location of the site, its important you have your own transport or that you have arranged transport before applying for this role!You will be working 37hrs per week.
