Job Description

Food Production Supervisor - Pontefract - £28,600 per annum plus company benefits Our client is a well-established and very successful production company based in Pontefract, due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Food Production Supervisor to join their existing team.Responsibilities and duties:

  • Responsible for managing the production team.
  • Ensuring efficient delivery of raw materials to the production lines.
  • Daily meeting with Operations Manager to discuss issues and updates on improvement projects
  • Supporting all lines to ensure production targets/KPIs are achieved
  • Resolving issues in regards to the performance of the line efficiencies, stock control, staffing and training requirements
All applicants must possess the following skills / experience:
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Be able to set up area to its optimal level
  • Be able to pass on a skill through coaching & training.
  • To have experience of production and production systems/processes
  • Production qualification, or relevant qualifications, would be beneficial but not essential.
