You can look forward to an exciting career, great benefitspackage, collaborative working and opportunities to expand your skills in this fast moving, dynamic and agile business.Reporting to the Zone Improvement Leader the Zone OTL will form part of the teams responsible for advising and co-ordinating activities across the manufacturing process.The Zone OTL will be responsible for improvement activities within SQDC and 4 M methodology thus becoming a critical member of the Zone team.With support and guidance of the Zone Improvement leader the Zone OTL performs improvements and sustaining actions to deliver a Showcase Plant that is "visit ready always" and strives towards excellence in SQDC through methodologies to drive zero accidents,zero defects, zero breakdowns and zero minor stoppages with in the area of focus.The Zone OTL will support the deployment of best in class autonomous maintenance (AM) and focus improvement activities (FI) Focused Improvement and will ensure Training and Education (T&E) is carried out robustly for upskilling in 5s, AM and PM principles.Critical to role will be the ability to engage, inspire and deliver work through others in the area of improvement focus.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational performance of all shifts through optimising resources improvements fields and attainments with the area of focus.
• People short falls across all shifts working closely with shift leadership teams to maintain subject area with respect to standard work and best practice compliance Full support for this will be given through the human resources department as required.
• Providing methods, tools, systems and coaching to improve performance in SQDC
• Collection of waste data on the focus area, leading waste improvement activities through zone teams.
• Improving and sustaining the focus area standards in line with agreed Show Case Plant standards and workplace organisation principles.
• Upskill in the processes of AM, getting back to basic conditions utilising clean inspect and lubricate (CIL). Uses AM as a tool to drive operator competency and ownership. Support Kaizen activities related to standard creation, workplace organisation andZero loss initiatives. Maintain regular and clear communications on the status of all improvement activities within the focus areas.
• Share knowledge information and skills for the use of others seeking to make their areas Show Case.
• Leads waste, supplies and safety improvement data, monitoring action completion and communication across all shifts.
• Supports Quality Engineering with respect to quality concerns within the focus area.
• Responsible for cycle counting materials and improving material booking performance reporting to shift leaders.
• Scrap / waste analysis and feed back to all shifts.
• Perform all duties to support and uphold the core values of the company.

Associates

• Ensures, where applicable, yearly reviews are completed as directed by the Zone Improvement leader to the standards as applied by the company.
• Responsible to ensure behaviours that could compromise, safety, quality and the goals of Showcase Plant are addressed in a timely manner with the ongoing support of HR.

EXPERIENCE

• Thorough knowledge of all related manufacturing processes. People management, leadership and coaching experience.
• Experience in a leadership role in manufacturing
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance is crucial.
• Experience of SAP, QDMS and LDMS systems.
• Experience of the "visual workplace", including 5S and SSU meetings
