Job Description

30 hours per week – Permanent.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 30 hour post for a Band 6 Junior Ward Sister role to join the Medical Ward Nursing Team in Tavistock Community Hospital in the West Devon Locality.Shift work is required for this post covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.We are seeking a registered practitioner who is passionate to work within a community hospital and being part of the ward leadership team currently consisting of the Senior Sister and another Junior Sister.

  • We are looking for a Junior Ward Sister who is passionate about providing high quality, competent care and rehabilitation, as part of their inpatient journey and to maximise their wellbeing in preparation for their onward care either at home or a care setting. To promote a whole service, in a coordinated way and improve patients experiences.The role requires positivity, excellent communication and leadership skills which will be challenged on a daily basis in our strive for continual improvement and provision of high quality sustainable services.Livewell Southwest values its staff and makes investment in their development a priority.
