My client, a live video streaming and production company is looking for temporary staff to help them meet the growing demand for their live virtual event production services.Suitable candidates should have strong IT and communication skills. A knowledge of broadcast or live event video production and associated equipment is desirable but not essential as training will be given.Experience of the software platform vMix would be desirable but not essential.Knowledge of simple video editing would be an advantage. The edit software being used is DaVinci Resolve.A basic understanding of PowerPoint would also be helpful.Candidates will work as part of a large team managing live events, broadcast around the world from the main offices in Plymouth. The ability to work under pressure with a confident, courteous and professional telephone manner is required in order to liaise and put at ease the speakers and presenters before and after their live presentations.Shifts will range from 4 hours and on rare occasions, up to 12 hours. Flexibility is crucial as shift patterns can change with short notice.Interested candidates will be invited to participate in a hands-on interview process that will last between 2 to 4 hours to determine suitability.This is a temporary position however could end up becoming a permanent role in the future.
