Due to continued expansion, they now have a vacancy for a Swimming Pool Engineer to join their team. The successful Swimming Pool Engineer will travel to customer sites throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset and will carry out the service maintenance and repair of swimming pool plant equipment.Please note - although commercial swimming pool experience is advantageous, full training will be provided for candidates with strong mechanical engineering backgrounds.NEGOTIABLE SALARY, OVERTIME PAYABLE, 37½ HOUR WORKING WEEK. COMPANY VAN, MOBILE PHONE, UNIFORM AND PPE PROVIDED. 20 DAYS HOLIDAY RISING WITH SERVICE AT 2 YEAR POINT PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS. PENSION SCHEME.Swimming Pool Engineer Responsibilities:- Servicing and repairs of swimming pool plant equipment and pipework.- Fault diagnosis and repairs.- Water chemical balancing.- Liaise with suppliers for technical support and ordering parts.- Liaise with customers.- Repairs and servicing of saunas, steam rooms and spas.- Project work - complete plant room rebuilds.Swimming Pool Engineer Requirements:- Must have a mechanical engineering qualification.- Commercial swimming pool experience - advantageous.- Understanding of mechanical systems and how they work.- Hold an electrical qualification - desirable.- Problem solver with a logical approach.- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.- Hold full clean driving licence.NOTE - My client encourages applications from candidates from both commercial and ex-military backgrounds, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force.
