Street Scene & Waste Operative

Service Care Solutions has an exiting opportunity to work as a Street Scene & Waste Operative for a local authority in Plymouth. Duties:

Maintenance on multiple sports pitches including Bowls, Football, Rugby, Baseball and others.
Collecting various types of waste and recycling from commercial and residential properties throughout the city.
Cleanse public land, highways, and main roads as directed by line manager.
Carry out grounds maintenance as directed including using mechanical hand tools such as pedestrian mower, strimmers and hedge cutters.

Requirements:

Experience of labouring work or heavy manual work.
Experience in delivering high standards of customer care.
Experience of working in a waste based environment.
Full driving licence and be confident in driving a 3.5tonne van as well as towing a trailer.
Knowledge and experience with turf maintenance, use of cylinder mowers, ride on mowers and sports pitch line marking would be an advantage but full training will be given.
