Job Description

Vacancy:Stores Person/Cleaning OperativeLocation:Plymouth, DevonSalary:£22,000-£24,000 per annum DOEInteraction Recruitment are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Stores Person/Cleaning Operative to join their environmental and cleaning client based in Plymouth, Devon. This is a full-time permanent role with potential for career progression.Main Accountabilities:

  • Manage the equipment and chemical stores ensuring they comply with environmental, quality and health and safety procedures
  • Manage the yard ensuring it is clean and safe at all times
  • Undertake cleaning and basic repairs of equipment in accordance with quality procedures
  • Sign in/out and monitor all equipment and chemicals
  • Assist managers and other team members to equip projects and works efficiently
  • Arrange service and calibration of equipment ensuring it is in date and ready for use at all times
  • Monitor and advise on repairs required for equipment, informing management of any long lead times
  • Conduct regular stock checks and allow adequate notice to be given to management to ensure no depletion of stock
  • Assist service engineers when required
  • Use vacuum tankers to remove liquid/waste
  • Set up and pump liquid from ship to shore
  • Set up and use hot pressure washers
