A successful firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth is searching for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the team on a part four day a week, or full time basis. You will manage the delivery of wide ranging bookkeeping services to the firmsclients and carve a key position within this growing firm.Client DetailsThis highly successful firm of chartered accountants, with offices in Plymouth has undergone significant growth and positive change with a varied client base across Devon and further afield. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in sector and turnoverswith their bookkeeping departments acting for a wide spectrum of clients. The firm favours Xero software.DescriptionJoining as a Senior Bookkeeper based in the firms offices in Plymouth, you will be responsible for the delivery of wide ranging bookkeeping to a wide ranging portfolio of clients. You will undertake processing, bank reconciliations, CIS, payroll, VAT returnsand advise on Xero/Freeagent and other online sofware and act as initial point of contact for these clients and develop relationship with these clients. There will be opportunity to add value to clients and potentially get involved in providing financial forecasts/cashflowsand other added value work for clients as well.You will carve a role building relationships with clients and internally as a key addition in this growing business.ProfileYou will have an ideal career background developed within an accountancy practice firm environment as an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with ideally up to five years or considerably more experience focused in this field working within firms of accountants.Ideally you will have experience with Xero and/or other online accounting. You will be looking for either part time - minimum of thirty hours a week, or full time hours to be explored with the right professional.Job OfferCirca £24,000 - £30,000 dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. .
