Job Description

Make a Difference: Ad Hoc SEN Teaching Assistant Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Ad Hoc Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team!In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our SEN pupils, helping them reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, tailored to the individual needs of each child.What youll do:

  • Provide one-to-one support to SEN pupils
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Help create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other professionals
What youll bring:
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a SEN environment (although not essential)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and patience skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding
