Job Description

Brief OutlineLooking for a Fire & Security engineer based in the Plymouth region. The successful candidate will have experience of cctv, access control and intruder. Some knowledge of fire alarms would be useful.About the ClientOur client have been established since 35 years and offers a full range of security services including Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems, Fire Alarms, Access Control & Wireless Alarms. One of the leading installers of high quality affordable commercial and domestic Security Systems.About the Role

  • Carry out Installations and/or maintenance on the above systems to meet quality standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Service/ Installation of, CCTV, Intruder and Access systems
  • Fault finding and repairs to I.P CCTV, Intercoms, Gates, Barriers systems.
  • Work with both commercial and domestic sector
  • It would be an advantage although not essential to also have knowledge with Fire & Security Engineering.
  • Security systems (CCTV, Access control and Intruder alarms) and Fire systems
    • About the Candidate
  • Proven technical background with a good knowledge of fire detection and fire alarm systems Must be proficient in both installing and servicing of Fire and security systems
  • Must hold current qualifications or have relevant experience in Electronic Security Systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Have a minimum years’ experience working in fire and security sector
  • Previous experience working on Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder and Access systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must have knowledge in access control networks and standalone.
