Job Description

Abatec is currently recruiting on behalf of a multi award winning, major Civil Engineering contractor who is delivering complex, challenging marine project (s) at Devonport Dockyard.This role will be joining the senior management team, contributing towards the successful delivery of a £100m+ heavy Civil Engineering project.As a Section Engineer you will:

  • Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Motivate, advise, monitor, and supervise site engineers, developing junior members
  • Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure all drawings and specification documents are sufficient, and accurate
  • Liaise with other key staff in the delivery of the project
  • Prepare written risk assessments and method statements for the control of the works.
  • Keep a full and accurate daily site diary
Our client requires a Section Engineer with:
  • A Degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of the Civil Engineering market
Salary/Benefits:
  • £42,000 - £47,000 per annum
  • Company Car / or cash equivalent
  • Above market rate of pension, healthcare, 36 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
