SAP GSI/ PLM Business Transformation Project Manager 18 Month Contract based in Plymouth £neg expected £500 - 600 a day Inside IR35 - location expected on site at primarily Plymouth but also Derby for up to 4/ 5 days per month.OVERVIEWYou will be working within a well established and successful Electronics Manufacturing facility and as part of a truly global organisation who have in 2022 been part of significant Global Buy out.The strategy of the business following this global buy out and amalgamation of both parties is to ensure that its systems and processes are in the first instance effectively aligned to corporate standards as well as fit for purpose to take the business forwardand help to deliver against current and future projects that it will undoubtedly secure. As with all such changes ensuring that all users are informed, engaged and trained is essential to a successful transition. PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe GSI site PM is in charge to perform a successful deployment of the GSI ERP for the concerned site by:* Animating the site Keys Users under his responsibility to follow the Roll out plan and reach the milestones in quality and time, and alert if some requirements are not met.* Collecting the local Site Business needs within the limit of the Core Model, and being the local contact point for IS&T organisation (IS&T PM & Providers* Suggesting the local Business changes if needed, to be compliant with GSI Core Model needs.* Animate, inform the Site Management Committee during roll out phases.ORGANISATIONReports directly to: The GSI Site PM hierarchically reports to the GSI Regional Business Director (if any) during the deployment.reporting to: Site ManagementNETWORK &. LINK* KU for capturing process lack of knowledge, contain them & escalate if necessary.* IS&T Project team* RBPE team* With Site Management Committee members for each concerned streams.* Regional IS&T Business Partner* Local business partnersMAIN RESPONSABILITIES & ACTIVITIESThe GSI site PM must:* Manage all phases of GSI Roll Out (from Pre Study & kick off to the end of post Go live), with IS&T project team, its provider, and RBPE support.* Build and Manage Site Deployment Team (local KU)* Ensure implementation of Change Management action (training, organization update, new ways of workings,…) with RBPE/ Local Change Manager support.* Coordinate data cleansing activities and insure data reliability.* Manage project issues log & escalation process at site / Region Level.* Limit the localization impacts with full respect of the GSI core processes.* Validate as Business representative the site GSI landscape to be deployed.* Report implementation progress to site / Region.* Be a member of the Site Management Committee during deployment.MEASUREMENT* Roll out planning and associated actions plans* Data accuracy assessment* KU maturity assessment during project.* Documentation availability* Business satisfactionMAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCESQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSMinimum 10 years experienced person, with a sound knowledge and experience in Sites operations activity.Minimum 5 years experience in ERP and fundamental ERP understanding of the below functions:* Supply Chain Procurement & Logistics (including Warehouse Management)* Industrial Production* Material Management* Finance and Controlling* Sales & Distribution Module* Quality Management* Project Management skills with previous ERP DeploymentBEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS* Project management skills* Influence and convince others* Good facilitator & excellent communication skills* Well organized and structured* Operational leadership* Ability to work well with all stakeholdersOPERATION KNOWHOW - including FUNCTIONAL* Operational effectiveness/Accountability * Collaboration/Teamwork * Innovation * Communication with Transparency* English fluent * Autonomous * Synthesis, rigour, perseverance* SAP & other IT tools usedMANAGERIAL KNOWHOW * Ability to make decisions/Sense of urgency* Resilience* Motivating & inspiring* Continuously managing & developing peopleLeading the way in EHSLEADERSHIP KNOW HOW* Strategic Vision* Convincing & Influencing* Shaping & driving change* Risk Management
