Job Description

22.5 hours per week – permanent.22.5 hours per week; an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the Medical Ward Nursing Team in Tavistock Community Hospital in the West Devon Locality.Shift work is required for this post covering 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.We are seeking a registered practitioner who is passionate to work within a community hospital and becoming part of a Ward team led by the Senior Sister and two Junior Sisters.Are you confident about making autonomous decisions regarding patient careIn line with our Service specification; why not be part of a service that ensures the patient receives the right care, by the right professional at the right timeAre you passionate about providing individualised care that focusses on what is important to the patientDo you want to be part of a service that aims to optimise the health and condition of our patients to maintain their wellbeing once they go homePassionate about providing high quality competent care and rehabilitation, as part of an inpatient journey, to maximise wellbeing in preparation for onward care either at home or within a care setting; you will strive to promote a whole service, in a co-ordinated way, to ultimately improve the patient experience.This role requires positivity and excellent communication and team working skills which will be challenged on a daily basis as you strive towards continual improvement and provision of high quality sustainable services.Livewell Southwest values its staff and makes investment in their development a priority.
