Job Description

Adecco are delighted to be working with a large business who are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer available within the Service & Maintenance Team working across Devon and Cornwall

  • To carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
  • To undertake preventative maintenance work as required
  • To receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
  • To carry out or assist on installation work, when required
  • To carry out commissioning at local level where required
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Capable of hands on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
  • Relevant Refrigeration certification i.e. city & guilds in refrigeration
  • Experience of CO2 Systems
Salary:£36,244 Per annum basic
  • Any hours outside of normal work, Time plus half
  • Bank holidays/special days Double time
  • £15 per week night s/b payment
  • £30 per weekend day s/b payment
  • Holiday Plus payment for the first 20days of your Holidays taken.
  • Case clean payments £65.60
  • Power Shutdowns £32.80
  • Choice of vehicles - Van (usually a Vivaro) Crew Cab (usually also a Vivaro)
  • Vehicles can be used for private use if you opted in. (Crewcab, have to opt in)
