Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility in Plymouth. You will be working in a team of 7 quality engineers on QMS procedures and protocols.Responsibilities as a Quality Engineer include:

  • Monitoring operational quality, looking for continuous improvement in efficiency on the shop floor
  • Supporting the execution of validations, internal audits, 3rd party audits and complaints
  • Using six sigma techniques to implement corrective and preventative actions to reduce quality issues
  • Provide training and development for Statistical Process Control (SPC) and mentoring Quality Inspection Teams
Experience required for a Quality Engineer includes:
  • 5 years plus working in quality and validation within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Use of statistical analysis software to analyse data
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
