Job Description

QA Tester -(C#, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Selenium,Specflow. Linux, SQL)

  • Location: Plymouth, Devon (Hybrid working) - expected on site in Plymouth part of the week.
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum + Bens
We are seeking a dynamic QA Tester to join our team during an exciting period of growth. As a QA Tester,you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and usability of our digital platforms.Day-to-day of the role:
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality and usability of digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive test plans based on user stories and requirements documents.
  • Stay abreast of the latest testing tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and a basic understanding of SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of Git source control is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) with a focus on testing methodologies.
  • Experience in writing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Specflow.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans based on requirements documents.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
