A successful and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth has a requirement for a Qualified Senior Accountant to join their team in a key position in this growing office with excellent career progression prospects on offer in a roleproviding accounts, tax and wider services to a varied client base.Client DetailsBased in Plymouth this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with clients from £250k - £1million plus turnovers whilstalso acting for a significant number or larger clients across larger corporates with turnovers in excess of £100 million and other manufacturing and industry sector clients in the range of £30 - £60 million. The firm also acts for charities, not for profitand academies. There is therefore the whole range of clients to mould client work and portfolios accordingly dependent on the skill set, preference and motivations of the right people. Therefor professionals with an entirely accounts/tax focused backgroundprofessional are of equal interest to those bring mixed audit/accounts background as well. The firm also offers flexible hours and competitive benefits.DescriptionJoining the firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant based out of the firms Plymouth offices you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands on provision of varied, audit (should the right candidate bring audit skills, with interest toutilise these moving forward), accounts, tax and wider general practice services to a mixed and wide ranging client base, entirely mouldable around the background and preferences of the right professionals. As well as managing the hands on provision of servicesto your clients, in both a hands on and review role you will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within this office and firm working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will help assistingwithin managing a wider team, reviewing work and supporting junior staff in their development. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career.ProfileYou will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a career background developed within accountancy practice as a qualified senior accountant professional. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice, in both a hands on and/ormanagerial, review capacity alongside this as well, or with the demonstrable ability to step up into this level of role over time, overseeing the delivery of ( audit)accounts, tax services and wider services to a mixed client base of large limited companies,SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships.You will be looking for a challenging, long term permanent career move where you can carve a career within a highly successful firms of accountants.Job OfferCirca £32,000 - £38,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
