Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer. Youll work with multi-discipline infrastructure system designs to provide an overall sustainment capability mainly for drydock systems.Rate: £50-70p/hr UMB (inside IR35)Location: Plymouth- hybridDuration: 12 months initiallyRequirements: eligible for SC Clearance (e.g. needs to work and live in the UK for the past 5 years)Using your experience in facility upgrade or construction projects you will manage the delivery of fabricated items and work with users and other stakeholders to ensure that the integrated facility provides the sustainment capability. You will use your projectmanagement expertise to ensure the end product meets the technical and operational requirements of the facility. You will be also responsible for ensuring the project management delivery of the Dock Flood & Dewatering package. Key responsibilities:* Provide support to the Project Manager Cradle who is managing the contract of a new cradle design.* Support delivery of schedule, scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.* Assist the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.* Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.* Provide input to cost and budget monitoring.* Develop Stakeholder management and communications plans.* Document & Deliverable management* Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues.Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and CompetencesThe candidate must have experience of working within a project environment, ideally with NEC4 contract experience. The project will be on the Nuclear Licensed site and therefore experience in delivery of Nuclear safety implicated structures, equipment or serviceswould be of benefit.Qualifications:* A Bachelors or Masters Degree.* APM project management qualification (or equivalent).* NEC4 Accredited Project ManagerA range of Companys specific courses will be provided, such as the following;* Site Induction* Fire Safety* Diversity* Anti-bribery* Data Protection
