Plant Operator Exeter £19,000 - £25,000 + Training + Callout Bonuses We have an excellent entry level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work to get involved in the rapidly growing Renewable Energy industry. If you consider yourself a self-starter and are keen to develop your professional skills, this is the perfect role for you. The company operates several Biomass CHP Plants across the South of England and are looking to grow quickly over the coming years to become a key player in the Bioenergy market. In this role you be responsible for monitoring, operating and carrying out inspections on plant equipment such as boilers and turbines, testing and treating of equipment such as boilers and other water systems, and you will ultimately be pivotal in contributing to a clean and safe work environment. We are looking for someone who considers themselves a self-starter, someone who has a resilient and flexible attitude to work, and someone who is keen to develop themselves through acquiring skills such as plant vehicle handling and equipment maintenance. The role: * Inspections and recording status of plant equipment * Monitoring and operating Biomass CHP equipment (e.g pumps, valves, boilers, turbine, water treatment) * Assisting with testing and treatment of boilers, coolers and other plant water systems * Maintaining plant cleanliness, safety and organisation * Additional remote monitoring responsibilities when on callout The person: * Keen to develop their technical and professional skillset * Flexible and resilient attitude to work * Looking to be part of a tight-knit team where they will work closely alongside other Operators and Engineers * Happy to work on a 4 on /4 off shift pattern * Experience of operating plant vehicles, HSE qualifications or CPCS/BOAS operator qualification will be highly advantageous Required skills
