A growing and highly regarded firm of accountants, based in Plymouth is searching for an experienced Payroll Administrator a to join the team in a role as a key addition within a role with increasing responsibility and chance to carve a key positive withinthis firm on a full, or part time basis up to 30 hours a week.Client DetailsThis highly successful firm of accountants, with offices in Plymouth has undergone significant growth and has an excellent reputation and varied client base across Devon, the wider South West and further afield. The firm acts for wide ranging clients insector and turnovers and provides a great environment for the right payroll professional to carve a key role. The firm utilises Brightpay and suite of online accounting software. Any of an office based role, or mix of home to office working, or equally a fullyremote/home working role could all be explored here dependent on the preferences of the right person.DescriptionJoining as Payroll Administrator with main offices based in Plymouth you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services (weekly / monthly ) to a significant number of client payrolls circa around 60 clients wide ranging in size with a good numberof director only / smaller clients and handful of larger clients with employee numbers up to around 30 staff on the larger clients. You will deal with queries and advice clients on technical issues and other varied payroll responsibilities.You will undertake processing and act as initial point of contact for these clients and develop relationship with these clients.You will carve a pivotal role within the firms payroll department and progress in your career, with increasing responsibility.ProfileYou will have a background in either accountancy practice, as an experienced Payroll Administrator, or come with mixed experience across both accountancy practice and industry. You will have focused on payroll delivery, working with significant numbers ofemployees, processing and delivery an efficient and quality payroll service. You will have least two to three years, or considerably many more years experience focused on the delivery of payroll services .Full or part time hours can be explored with a minimum of 30 hours a week. Any of an office based role, or mix of home to office working, or equally a fully remote/home working role could all be explored here dependent on the preferences of the right person.Job Offer£21,000 - £26,000 plus benefits.
